Premium Billet Construction

At the heart of the RD-15 is a CNC machined upper and lower receiver set crafted from billet aluminum. This aerospace-grade material is known for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, making it an ideal foundation for a high-performance rifle platform.

The receivers feature a hardcoat anodized finish for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance, while the billet construction provides a refined fit and finish that stands apart from standard forged platforms.

The lower receiver also incorporates an enlarged trigger guard, allowing for easier access and improved usability when wearing gloves or operating in cold environments.

Precision Barrel and Gas System

The RD-15 features a 16-inch barrel machined from 4150 CMV steel with a nitride finish for enhanced longevity and wear resistance. The nitride treatment also improves corrosion resistance while maintaining excellent barrel accuracy over time.

Shooters can expect dependable stabilization from the rifle’s twist rates:

• 5.56mm NATO: 1:8 twist rate
• 300 BLK: 1:12 twist rate

The platform utilizes optimized gas system configurations depending on caliber:

• Mid-Length Gas System (5.56mm)
• Carbine Gas System (5.56mm)
• Pistol Gas System (300 BLK)

Combined with the low-profile .750 diameter gas block, the RD-15 delivers smooth cycling and reliable operation across a variety of shooting conditions.

15” Free Float M-LOK Handguard

The lightweight 15-inch aluminum free float handguard offers extensive M-LOK mounting space for accessories including lights, grips, lasers, and bipods. Anti-rotation tabs provide additional rigidity and maintain alignment under hard use.

An ambidextrous safety selector enhances control manipulation for both left- and right-handed shooters, making the platform more versatile and user-friendly.

The collapsible M4-style stock allows shooters to quickly adjust length of pull for comfort and adaptability in different shooting positions. An integrated ambidextrous QD sling attachment point makes sling setup simple and efficient.
